Old Treasury & Tunnels Tour | Adelaide

From riots to floods to historic reforms, the Treasury sat at the heart of South Australia’s political life – and you can explore its secrets and forgotten stories on Sunday afternoons.
Go underground at Adina Hotels Adelaide Treasury and discover the stories within and beneath one of Adelaide City’s oldest and most significant historical sites.
From the founding of the colony, through the gold rush era, Federation and two World Wars, this building was at the heart of South Australia’s political life. The tour includes the former Cabinet Room and underground passages where gold from Victoria was stored to be smelted into Australia’s first gold coin, the Adelaide Pound.

Tours take place on Sundays at 1pm & 3pm.
Duration: Approx. 60 minutes
Accessibility: All areas visited on our tour are wheelchair/pram accessible.
Age Guide: Not suitable for children under the age of 8 years old.
