About MIFSA

MIFSA is a non-profit organisation, whose mission is to increase opportunities to achieve good mental health for the local community. The organisation annually works alongside around 5,000 South Australians from metropolitan Adelaide to Mount Gambier in the south, through to Mannum, the Eyre Peninsula and remote Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the north. Their staff and volunteers are based at key key sites around South Australia.

One in five Australians will at some point in their life identify with a mental illness. It could be your family or friends. It’s important to realise there are quality services and as a community we need to begin speaking more openly about mental health.
