Play it On | Donate Your Unwanted Sports Gear

Play It On – Supporting South Australian Families

Do you have unwanted sports gear lying around your house?  Rather than throw it away, you can donate it all to Play it On so they can provide funding to assist children from families that are financially challenged, to participate in their chosen sport.

Donate your slightly used and unwanted sporting goods and Play It On will spruce it up and make it as good as new.  They then sell the goods with the profits used to assist disadvantaged kids participate in sport.  The refurbished goods are available to purchase on the Play It on website including clothing, equipment, merchandise and footwear. Sports associations, clubs, teams, businesses and shops also donate sports gear, end of run clothes and footwear for Play it On to sell.

With every purchase from Play It On you give a child in need the opportunity to play sport too.

The Play It On vision is for all Australian children to have the opportunity to play sport regardless of their financial situation. Only half the amount of kids in lower socio-economic areas participate in sport compared to participation rates of kids in other areas and this is primarily due to finances.

Play It On have recently partnered with YMCA SA and there is now a collection box at St Clair Recreation Centre, 109 Woodville Road, Woodville.

Play it On relies on volunteers – find out how to help here.
