New Playground at Harrogate Recreation Reserve in the Adelaide Hills
Harrogate Recreational Reserve now has a new playground, toilets and walking tracks thanks to a $140k investment from the local council. Harrogate is located in the Adelaide Hills, about 15 minutes drive East of woodside and is a stunning part of the hills to explore.
The area was badly affected by bushfire in 2019 and as part of the township plan and bushfire recovery efforts, the Harrogate Recreational Reserve has received a much-needed facelift.
Upgrades include a modern shelter housing a new barbecue, undercover seating and power, new playground equipment, walking tracks, signage, carved timber seating and updated public toilets.
There is also a winter creek crossing at the entrance. Visitors are advised to take care when using the crossing.
