Scouts is where kids across Adelaide climb higher, explore further, build cool stuff, and discover what they’re made of.

Adventure is calling with Scouts SA!  It’s not just packed with fun; it’s where confidence grows, leadership skills shine, and friendships are formed.

The program is hands-on and youth-led, focusing on learning by doing. From bushwalking and survival skills to building gadgets and taking on challenges, there’s always something exciting around the corner.

There’s a free three-week trial, so your child can try it before committing. Plus, with support options and access to the SA Government Sports Voucher, Scouts is designed to be inclusive and affordable for all families.

Equipping young people with skills for life.

Young people can enjoy a free trial at their local group. The process involved is this easy:

• Find the Group/s you are interested in joining and submit an enquiry.
• A member of the team will get in touch with you regarding your initial visit.
• Before your first visit, you must fill out a membership application form. This gives Leaders important contact information for when the young person attends their Scout meeting.
• There is a three week trial period for you or your young one to explore Scouts. After that, you will become a full member unless you decide not to continue.

FIND YOUR LOCAL SCOUTS SA GROUP

Most Scout Groups hold weekly meetings at their Scout Hall during term time. Parents are not required to attend but are encouraged to get involved as much as possible as an adult helper to help the group operate at its best.

AGE GROUPS

• JOEY | 5-8 years
• CUB | 8-11 years
• SCOUTS | 11-15 years
• VENTURER | 15-17 years
• ROVER – 18-25 years
