Glanville Golf Course is Adelaide’s very first golf course to welcome the fun, outdoor sport of disc golf, a game suitable for people of all ages, abilities and interests.
What is Disc Golf?
Disc golf is a game of skill and strategy, the aim being to throw your disc from the tee pad into the disc catching basket (hole) in the least number of throws. As the name implies, the aim of the sport is very alike to a game of regular golf, in that players aim to score in as few turns as possible, similar to pars in a golf course.
Why play Disc Golf?
Disc golf is a healthy recreational activity that provides upper and lower body conditioning, aerobic exercise, and mental stimulation. Concentration skills expand by mastering shots and negotiating obstacles. Players of limited fitness levels can start slowly and gradually increase their level of play.
With similar rules to traditional golf, players throw specially designed golf discs from a tee area into an elevated target basket. It can be enjoyed both individually as a recreational sport and played casually with family and friends.
Semaphore Disc Golf offers Par 3 Disc Golf. All 9 holes are Par 3 following the same layout as our traditional golf course, making it possible for disc golf and traditional golf to play alongside each other or together in groups of two or four players.
Price Lists 9/18 holes:
- Adults – $5.00 per player
- Child (Under 18) – $3.00 per player
- Family of 4 – $15.00
- Corporate and Social Group are welcome – price upon request.
- Disc Golf Disc Hire available.
From 7 – 30 April 2023, you can ‘come and try’ out Disc Golf.
Family package – 1 Adult 3 kids / 2 Adults 2 kids for $10.00, includes 1 x disc hire each!!

- April-September | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:30pm
- October-March | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 7:00pm
- April-September | Saturday to Sunday | 7:00am – 5:30pm
- October-March | Saturday to Sunday| 7:00am – 7:00pm
