The much-loved Semaphore Music Festival is back and celebrating their 21st Anniversary with four days of live entertainment.
The Semaphore Music Festival 2026 runs across the October long weekend with live music spread across Semaphore pubs, cafés, community spaces and the foreshore. The festival features around 40 artists across 11 venues, with a mix of free and ticketed performances.
Friday 2 October 2026 – Opening Night
The festival kicks off at the Semaphore Workers Club from 7.30pm with Gleny Rae Virus & the Country Ace Soul Band, followed by Snooks La Vie’s Allstars. There’s also live music at other Semaphore venues, including Exeter Blues at the Exeter Hotel.
Saturday 3 October 2026 – Music Around Semaphore
Saturday has music happening across the precinct throughout the day. A free Songwriting Master Class with Charles Jenkins starts at 10am at Sophia’s Retreat, Semaphore Uniting Church, followed by an exclusive set with Art Starr at Mr V Music from 1pm.
Saturday night at the Semaphore Workers Club features Ryan Martin John, Mark Curtis & The Flannelettes, Jen Lush & The Field, Tin Town and The Flying Squad, with doors from 7.30pm. Other artists appearing around Semaphore over the weekend include Holly Hastings, Kickass Cowgirls, Squirrel Grip and more.
Sunday 4 October 2026 – Sunday Sessions
Sunday brings another day of live music across Semaphore. Baulk at the Möön and Last Milieu are at Sweet Amber from 5–8pm, while the evening headline show at Semaphore Workers Club features Sam Brittain & The Stowaways with the Laura Hill Band, with doors opening at 7.30pm.
There are also performances at venues including the Exeter Hotel, Semaphore Palais Hotel, Semaphore Hotel, Korked, Mr V Music and Petal & Leaf Café.
Monday 5 October 2026 – High Tide on the Foreshore
The festival finishes with High Tide Emerging Artists Stage at Semaphore Foreshore Reserve near the Carousel from 12pm.
The line-up includes Born on Monday Choir, Oblivia Jean, The Dainty Morsels, The Fuss, Badland Caravan, Caressa and The Dancing Monsters.
It’s a free event, although bookings are recommended due to limited capacity.
