The Stirling Market will be returning Sunday 28 June 2020
The Market Committee welcomes the return of the market in June 2020 and encourages all visitors and stallholders to practice social distancing and show respect to others.
The Stirling Market is usually held each month in Druid Avenue, Stirling, approximately 20 minutes up the South Eastern Freeway from the city. The long established market is popular with both local and visitors with its many and varied stalls. Renowned for the diversity and quality of the goods on offer, you can expect to find things such as:
- Everything both for and from the garden including; rare natives and exotics plants, cottage plants, shrubs, bulbs, annuals, cut flowers, posies and garden art.
- Fresh seasonal local produce, home made jams, chutneys and preserves, delicious home baked cakes, pies, and biscuits, local wine and oils, hot and cold drinks and snacks.
- Gifts from the comprehensive range of original arts and crafts, locally made jewellery, needlework, cards cosmetics, soaps and candles, hand made childrens clothes, bags dolls clothes, teddy bears, hats and scarves.
- Wrought iron, pottery, books, toys, antiques, collectables and much more.
The organisers ask that you do not linger for too long in front of stalls or in large groups prohibiting others from enjoying the market and stallholders from trading. Social distancing is everyone’s responsibility.
The Stirling Market continues to abide by the State Governments COVID safe directions as amended from time to time. There will be hand sanitiser stations throughout the market for your use. If you are bringing your dog please be extra mindful and use a short leash as this will help maintain social distancing.
