Something quirky is going to the Bay on Proclamation Day and the day after; a T-Rex from Adelaide Zoo is set to attack Moseley Square!
A 2.4m high x 5.7m long Nanotyrannosaur (small T-Rex) will be busting out of the Adelaide Zoo at around 8.30am on Wednesday 28 December morning and making his way to Moseley Square, Glenelg. He’s making his way on a trailer, so shouldn’t cause too much havoc – and he should be in place in Moseley Square by 10am, where people can get a taste of the Dinosaurs Alive event that’s on at the Adelaide Zoo. There they’ll see a much bigger T-Rex – 6m tall by 15m long (but still with those wee hands) and a collection of other life-sized dinosaurs.
The Nanotyrannosaur will be back on the road to the zoo in the evening and return to Moseley Square bright and early on Thursday 29 December morning before heading back to the zoo – so that’s four trips in an open trailer from the zoo to Glenelg that may have people wondering whether they’ve had too much eggnog over Christmas!
Dinosaurs Alive will be on from the 26 Dec 2016 – 29 Jan 2017 at Adelaide Zoo. Book your tickets for Adelaide Zoo to see the Dinosaurs Alive event here.
