The Nature’s Table Café | Littlehampton | Review

The Nature’s Table is the perfect kid-friendly Café with indoor and outdoor nature play, school holiday activities, a kid friendly menu AND free babyccino’s!
Review by Adaire Prosser
On the main street in Littlehampton in the scenic Adelaide Hills there is a cosy café that has been designed with both adults and children in mind. Open for breakfast and lunch, the menu has options for all ages which makes it perfect for family outings or coffee catch ups. Free babyccinos are included with coffee purchase, and there are little play corners for the kids to explore while waiting for food or catching up with friends.

We took our 3 year old daughter for a lunch date, and there was so much for her to explore and play with while we sat and waited. There is a variety of wooden toys, as well as an indoor and outdoor nature play station set up. The owners have a young son, and a lot of thought has gone into the open ended play areas including cushions for sitting or kneeling on, and kid sized seating and tables.

Our daughter enjoyed her pancakes (served with greek yoghurt and jam) and babyccino. There was even kid sized utensils which can be hard to come by when dining out, so this was a nice inclusion as well.

The menu has a good mix of dietary friendly options for all, with vegan and vegetarian choices. There is also a fridge with a variety of cakes and treats if you just have time for a coffee catch up.

The café is located inside an historic brick building, but it is both open and cosy at the same time, with a gas fireplace and lounge chairs to enjoy in comfort.
There are also outdoor seating areas for when the weather is warmer.

Be sure to stop by Nature’s Table Cafe if you find yourself nearby (there are some great hills playgrounds a short drive away), and it sounds like school holidays will be a good time to visit with some special activities planned during this time.
