The Party – Adelaide Fringe 2023 Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   So, do you want to go to a Party?

If you were disappointed to hear Blanc de Blanc wasn’t returning this year, don’t be. It’s replacement by the same producers Strut & Fret has filled the void with a show you don’t want to miss!

This show screams FUN as soon as you walk into the Spiegletent and take your seat.  Oozing sass and strutting the stage from the opening scene, it’s hard to know where to look as each artist appears on stage, each captivating in their own unique way.  Setting the scene for the party of all parties, this loud, funky and colourful production is a feast for the eyes and will have you applauding until your hands throb.

Not for the prudish or easily offended, this show has incredible music, clever soundtracks, fabulous voice overs (listen out for movie quotes) eye popping costumes and an outstanding level of energy.  The cast of incredibly talented artists each play their parts to perfection.

Classified in the Fringe circus category, the acrobatics will make your head spin and your cheeks will ache from smiling at the highly inappropriate yet hilarious antics on stage. At times you really won’t know where to look!

After a 20 minute intermission, the second half begins and the entertainment ramps up another notch. Things get messier, more risqué and the party rages on with more laughs, awesome music and astonishing circus tricks – the highlight being an incredible aerial performance.

There are sexual undertones throughout the entire show, nudity and some of the language used your mother would wash your mouth out with soap for!

Book a babysitter, grab some friends and treat yourself to an ADULTS ONLY night out at the fringe. Enjoy a delicious meal and a drink or two in the Garden and then take your ticket along to the best party in town!

The Party is performing in The Spiegeltent at The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Rundle Park/Kadlitpina, Cnr East Tce & Rundle Rd, Adelaide.

STRICTLY 18+ – R RATED
