U Cool Bubble Tea & Bubble Waffle | Review

U Cool is the ultimate spot for bubble tea and waffle inspired desserts. Not only do they offer a delicious range, their shop is eye catching, fun and even has a small games corner!

Located North East of Adelaide in the Gilles Plains Shopping centre sits U Cool, part bubble tea part waffle shop and 100% delicious. U Cool is a small shop with a lot to offer and somewhere my family return to time and again.

As you pull up to the shop, the mint green décor instantly catches your eye. Once inside you are hit with an extensive menu and even plastic replicas of the bubble waffle options on hand. Some of the notable menu items include bubble waffles, waffle sticks, coffee, milk tea, fresh brewed tea, frozen tea and even sparkling fruit tea. This place truly is a choose your own adventure and the serves are generous in size too.

As you wait for your tea and desserts, there are ample places to sit and relax, making it a great option for families or groups. There are multiple couches and even cute booths with a table, chairs and fake flower adornments. Best of all is their games area. They have a small cabinet filled with a variety of games for young and old including chess, checkers, uno and trivial pursuit, just to name a few!

We visited with a group of friends and enjoyed the bubble waffles with cookies and cream ice cream. Even though my children (aged five and seven) insisted on having their own, they could have easily shared and still been satisfied. The waffle sticks on the other hand are more of a kid friendly size, yet don’t have the same striking wow factor as the bubble waffles. We also tried a sparkling lychee black tea and a peach green tea and both were super delicious.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience at U Cool and will be back again. It’s a great option for an easy dessert or beverage and being in a shopping centre with a supermarket, it’s a nice way to end a grocery shopping trip.

What we like about it:

• Great range of bubble tea, cool desserts and games corner 

Things to consider:

• There is ample parking at the shopping centre but nothing undercover
• No toilet on site but toilets in the shopping centre complex
• They can do caffeine free drinks too for kids, you can also choose your sugar level in the bubble tea
