The City of Unley is celebrating 50 years of providing quality library services to the community by hosting two days of educational workshops, engaging performances and family-friendly activities.
The vintage and history themed event, Record. Rewind. Relive will feature a vintage street fair, live entertainment, hands on workshops, lectures and displays.The Unley Libraries Festival will be held on Friday 4th of November and Saturday 5th of November. Highlights include a stroll down memory lane with Bob Byrne, author of the bestseller, Adelaide Remember When and the launch of Marianne Musgrove’s new children’s book, Frieda at the Unley Civic Library.
Oxford Terrace will be closed off on Saturday 5th of November to make way for a vintage fair, demonstrations and performances including popular puppet show Preston’s Historic Punch and Judy.
Other children’s activities include a screening of Disney’s The Jungle Book, biscuit decorating and dance performances.
