Lend a hand and be present for a major announcement at the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary Busy Bee Day.
Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary received quite a battering in the storms of the last 12 months. It’s a bit of a mess. Additionally, after 4 years of neglect, there’s a lot of weeding to do. In other words, before rejuvenation of the Sanctuary can begin, it needs to be tidied up. Hence the Busy Bee.
Please register your attendance at the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary website here.
When registered, simply turn up at any time you like, between 8.30am and 4pm. When you arrive, you will be directed to a Volunteer Team Leader, in charge of a sector of the Sanctuary that needs your attention.
What to Bring:
- Boots/enclosed shoes
- Wide brimmed hat
- Rain coat
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Gloves
- Rakes
- Wheel barrows
- No power tools
There will also be a sausage sizzle during the day, as a fundraiser for the Sanctuary.
No children 6 years of age and under can come, as there will be vehicles and heavy machinery in use.
For more information and all enquiries please visit the Warrawong Sanctuary Busy Bee Facebook event page.
