Swashbuckling Adventure Sails Into Adelaide Fringe
Runner up for Best Children’s Event at FringeWorld Perth 2016 and Brighton Fringe (UK) 2016, Arrr We There Yet? is a pirate themed family fun show of circus tricks, old school slapstick jokes and acrobatic mayhem as three pirates set out on a quest to find hidden treasure.
These friendly pirates turn ship life on its head. Walking the plank becomes the high flying teeterboard, steering the ship is spinning upside down in a metal wheel. Enlisting the help of some very eager young wannabe pirates from the audience, Arrr We There Yet? is a fun-fuelled, action packed, truly amazing and heart-warming family show – all performed to a fabulous musical soundtrack!
Arrr We There Yet? will perform in The Peacock at Gluttony from Saturday 25 February until Sunday 19 March, 2017 – Saturdays and Sundays only plus Monday 13 March.
Presented by Head First Acrobats, Arrr We There Yet? is a mix of skilful acrobatics by three consummate circus performers who proudly flaunt their comedy skills, acrobatic agility and a love of entertaining children – young and old.
These talented home-grown acrobats engage kids in balloon-sword fights, secret maps and searches for hidden treasure, while wowing onlookers of all ages with their mesmerising Roue Cyr wheel and high flying teeterboard skills, jaw-dropping juggling and balancing, tangos with mops and gripping ladder balancing.
Bring your kids and their grandparents and come sail the high seas and the high trapeze with the zany pirates – not to mention the occasional spooky ghost and fierce storm – in Arrr We There Yet?
