Ended: WIN Family Passes to See 3 Fringe Shows at Gluttony 2015

gluttony_venue-4

Gluttony returns for the Fringe 2015 in Rymill Park (Mullawirraburka), right in the heart of Adelaide’s festive East End on the corner of East Terrace and Rundle Road. There are four performance venues – The Peacock, La Petite Grande, The Bally and The Piglet – nestled within Gluttony’s leafy bounds, ranging from the large and lively to the intimate and atmospheric.

Here’s a taste of some of the children’s shows you’ll find there this year:

Kids silent disco

$5 at the door every Sunday from 1pm. The Silent Disco at Gluttony is an institution and it’s a lot of fun. You wear headphones and the music is only in the headphones. There are three channels and you can sing away or dance quietly to whichever channel takes your fancy.

La Petite Circus

Le Petit Circus is a 40 minute family circus extravanganza. Returning with a BRAND NEW SHOW in 2015! Amazing acrobatics, and stacks of silliness, perfect for children aged 3+, and the young at heart. This circus is a favourite and returns for the fifth year with all new tricks and all new fun.

LE PETIT CIRCUS

Oddball

Dado has been doing little short shows in the middle of Gluttony for a couple of years now but will be doing his own show Oddball this year. He is rated up there with famous international shows such as Swamp Juice (a favourite of the 2014 Fringe). The weird and wacky wonderful world of Dado. An incredible array of oddball antic’s and comical buffoonery where musical chickens and super flies truly exist. Innovative props, bizarre musical instruments and snappy non-verbal wit are what make Dado an oddball original. “A pleasure for all ages!” YouView Australia 2013.

A Collage of the Arts

Charles Campbell College has an outstanding reputation for The Arts. This 2015 Fringe event will be an exciting theatrical experience, showcasing the abilities of our students from Reception to Year 12. The performances will consist of a variety of acts, ranging from dance and music, to drama and multimedia. In the past some of the kids from Charles Campbell have gone on to be professional performers. This event is under the Cabaret category.

Boris and Sergey

First class comedic puppetry out of England. They sell their whole season out at Edinburgh. This will be the first year they have done a kids show in Adelaide. They are the type of act that will find their way into curated festivals, very witty and clever and they are exceptional puppeteers. A 45 minute puppetry show for ages 4+ Boris & Sergey began life in a wintery city in Russia, (the big one near the river.) Alone, the brothers had only each other to depend on and their love for each other grew strong. “Hilariously Surreal” – Broadway World
