Each year, Sonder and Nunkuwarrin Yunti collaborate to host Closing the Gap Day, a free community event focused on celebrating First Nations’ cultures, promoting equality, and fostering inclusivity.
As the largest event of its kind in South Australia, this eagerly anticipated extravaganza offers attendees the unique opportunity to engage with over 100 service providers that can support their needs in health, aged care, education, employment, housing, and much more.
Beyond browsing stalls and making connections, event goers are treated to an exciting lineup of entertainment from talented First Nations music and dance artists, as well as immersive cultural activities, delicious food, and many family-friendly activities including interactive games, sports workshops, and meet and greet opportunities with sporting icons.
