Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour – Trophy Visit at St Patrick’s Technical College
This year, communities around the nation and the world have been provided with the opportunity to experience the magic of the Lexus Melbourne Cup, and hear the many stories connected with Australia’s greatest horse-race.
More than 75 communities applied to host the $200,000 trophy in their town or community. The final route spans six countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, China and the United Kingdom.
As the Victoria Racing Club celebrates 100 years of the renowned three-handled trophy design, members of the public in the northern areas have the opportunity to celebrate this great race. St Patrick’s Technical College is the only school who has secured one of these prestigious visits.
Members of the community are invited to see the Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophy at a FREE public event, giving the opportunity to see this beauty up close and personal.
