Adelaide Oval Stadium Golf
Adelaide Oval will be turned into a golfer’s paradise over seven days, from Saturday 5 October 2019.
Featuring a nine-hole golf course, a nine-hole putting course, a Clubhouse putting hole, longest drive simulator competition and more – all open to the general public and corporate groups.
Teeing off from locations around the stadium, including a purpose-built platform in front of the heritage scoreboard, this bespoke stadium golf course is sure to become a must-play course for every golfer in the country.
Overall scoring will include the nine-hole stadium golf course and the Clubhouse putt – the only hole to be putted out in the competition – giving players the chance to put their putting skills to the test. The putting course will be played at participant leisure – before or after they have completed the stadium challenge.
This is not your usual round of golf – no players will enter the field of play, each player gets two shots per hole (excluding the Clubhouse putt, which will be putted out) and a shot clock will keep play on track, so bring your best game.
The event is open to all ages, but anyone 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult playing in the same group.
The event is recommended for those with a moderate fitness and mobility given the number of stairs to be negotiated around the course and the steps to be climbed to access the tee platforms. Players are not permitted to bring their own clubs or balls. All equipment will be provided.
