Playgroup at Home is a South Australian Playgroup initiative which invites the community to share ideas for play, health and wellbeing, and to support opportunities for play from the comfort of home.
It is a safe space to share ideas for play including craft, imaginative, physical play, sensory play, outdoor play, literacy and numeracy.
They aim to create a community that belongs to the families, to provide a sense of belonging when there may not physically be able to be close to each other.
Share your experiences, photos and videos. What do you do at home when boredom hits? What is your child’s favourite at home activities?
The Playgroup at Home Facebook Group is a space where you can all share – a community page that will belong to the community.
About Playgroup SA
Playgroup is a group of mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers who meet together each week with their babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (aged 0-6 years) for interaction and fun. Parents and caregivers work together to provide their babies and young children with opportunities to learn through play. Each parent or carer is responsible for their child’s behaviour at playgroup and this helps to ensure close supervision of all children.
