Where to Donate Your Child’s Old Footy & Soccer Boots in Adelaide

It’s the time of the year when footy and soccer season is starting, and maybe you have just realised your kids have grown out of last year’s boots. Before buying new boots, consider visiting Treasure Boxes first.

When poverty, homelessness and domestic violence create an uncertain, sometimes dangerous home environment, many South Australian families struggle to provide their kids with the essentials of life; bedding, clothes, toys, even regular meals. Treasure Boxes is an Adelaide-based Not for Profit (NFP) organisation who focus on providing vital essentials to newborns, babies and children living in disadvantage within our community.

Before you go out and spend $100+ on new boots this year, here’s what you can do:

  1. Donate last year’s boots to Treasure Boxes and they will give them to a child in need who can’t afford boots.
  2. Grab another pair for only $10 – save yourself money.
  3. Feel fab that you’ve helped another child play sport, saved a bunch of money, and done your bit for the environment.

Please make sure you give them a clean before donating.
