The Art Gallery of South Australia’s popular Tarnanthi Art Fair will be presented as an ONLINE ONLY event in 2024.
Tarnanthi is a platform for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from across the country to share important stories through artistic excellence, illuminating the diversity and depth of art and culture in communities nationwide. It encourages new beginnings by providing artists with opportunities to create significant new work and to extend their practice.
Browse and buy from home on Kaurna Country or wherever you are around the world between 18 and 21 October 2024. Works for sale include paintings, ceramics, sculpture, woven objects, jewellery, textiles, clothes and homewares, created by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists working independently or from art centres across the country.
Tarnanthi Art Fair supports the ethical production and sale of works of art by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. Every dollar from your purchase goes directly to the artists and their Aboriginal-owned and governed art centres – delivering economic benefits to communities where art production is a vital source of income.
The 2024 Tarnanthi Art Fair will open at 5pm Friday 18 October and close Monday 21 October at 9pm.

2023 Tarnanthi Art Fair
For the first time since 2020, the popular Tarnanthi Art Fair returned in person for three days in 2023, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre – offering a unique opportunity to meet the artists and buy works of art with 100% of sales going back to artists and art centres.
