For the Love of Pets
For the Love of Pets is an eight-part docuseries following the heart-warming stories of the staff, volunteers and animals at The Animal Welfare League of South Australia Inc. (AWL).
A not-for-profit organisation built on the philosophies of providing love, care and compassion to every animal that comes through its doors, AWL is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to pets in need. Shot in stunning 4K, the series will follow a cast of colourful characters within AWL who devote their lives to the animals in their care.
The program will show vets performing life changing surgeries, the re-homing team working tirelessly to care for and re-home more than 4,000 pets per year and the compassionate team who manage the pet memorial and cremation services, helping families say their final goodbyes.
The series has been commissioned by 9Network and executive produced by Context Media’s Peter Jenetsky and Tim Clucas, alongside series producer Kym Slaby. The Animal Welfare League of South Australia Inc is on board as a key production partner, with the series being filmed on location at, and with the assistance of the organisation.
FOR THE LOVE OF PETS will air on 9Network in 2022.

The AWL is open for adoptions Tuesday to Sunday from 10am – 3pm. Please take a look at the animals before you visit via their website HERE.
AWL’s Animal Care Centre is located at 1-19 Cormack Rd, Wingfield. You might even see some cameras around when you go to adopt your new fur-baby.
