Family Fun Day at Storybook Walk to Introduce Fancy Pants
Go along to Storybook Walk in Thalassa Park as a new sculpture celebrating “Fancy Pants” written by Kelly Hibbert and illustrated by Amanda Graham is unveiled.
Sally Wickes has applied her talent to create a wonderful sculptural piece about Fancy Pants. As well as meeting Dingo and his friends, there will be fun activities and roving performers to keep the whole family entertained. Along with this, there will be delicious snacks and drinks available to consume.
The objective of the sculpture park is to raise the profile of and celebrate Australian writers and poets and their works, by bringing characters from some of the best-loved children’s books to life.
