Coastal Sounds is a free, fun-filled family friendly event which transforms 12 beachfront locations into a vibrant coastal trail of live music, dance workshops and art experiences.
This June long weekend, follow a vibrant 13km coastal trail of free live music, dance workshops, art experiences and kids’ activities from West Beach to Semaphore. Grab your family, friends, even your dog, and join the fun.

Coastal Sounds 2026 transforms the shoreline from West Beach, Henley Beach, Grange and Semaphore into a lively, open-air journey, featuring more than 30 performances, workshops and interactive art experiences by original South Australian artists, alongside a packed program for kids.

This year’s Coastal Sounds will also see the biggest kids program they’ve ever had!
The kids program will be focussed in Henley Beach and West Beach from 10am to 2pm.
Highlights include:
- Pop Event’s Baby Dinosaur Petting Zoo
- The Bubble Woman
- Dancing Streamy Streams
- Climbing Tree nature play space (including cubby making)
- Glitter Tattoos
- Upsound Instruments Make and Play workshops
- Monski Mouse DJ set
- Jaden Little Rocker – a 9-year-old rock star who will be performing in front of the Henley Beach Wave Sculpture
- Carla Mattiazzo’s Dogs … A Canine Cabaret (A performance about and for dogs and their owners)
- Climbing trees giant dog sculptures (the ones that were at SA Musuem a few years ago)
- Auslan interpreted performances
