A Day on The Lawn is an inclusive and sensory friendly day out for International Day of People with a Disability.
A Day on The Lawn is a FREE event designed with families in mind. Leading up to International Day of People with Disabilities, this event aims for wholesome fun for everyone. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Thorndon Park, this all-inclusive day includes endless outdoor fun. Kids can enjoy the brand-new, ultra-accessible playground, designed with every child in mind.
As the little ones play, you can kick back and enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle. Meanwhile, go back in time with electrifying renditions of classic rock hits from the 60’s and 70’s.
Campbelltown City Council will have sensory breakout tents and a chill zone on the premises, so everyone can have a blast in their own way.
Don’t forget to take your own picnic rugs, chairs, and noise-canceling earphones.
There will be accessible bathrooms for adults and children on site.
