Easter’s coming a week early at Ginny Pig! Pack your picnic rugs and chairs, and join them for a day brimming with laughter and joy at their inaugural Hot Cross Bun Festival.
Nestled in the heart of scenic McLaren Vale at the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre, Ginny Pig Distillery is buzzing with excitement to host a family extravaganza that perfectly marries the festive spirit of Easter with the unique allure of their signature Hot Cross Bun Gin.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Family Fun
Dive into a world of old-fashioned lawn games like tug of war, sack races, and egg and spoon races. It’s a day filled with friendly competition, giggles, and fun for all ages.
Easter Hunts with a Twist
Kids will love the Easter Egg hunt, and adults can join in the festivities with a one-of-a-kind Gin hunt. There’s excitement around every corner! (Please purchase an add on ticket to be involved in the adult gin hunt)
Gin Delights and Sweet Treats
Explore the unique flavours of Ginny Pig Distillery’s award-winning Hot Cross Bun Gin and their range of handcrafted artisanal gins. Feast on a variety of hot cross bun-inspired treats like ice cream, doughnuts, macarons, beer, and freshly baked hot cross buns from the best local artisans.
Gin Tastings
The friendly bar staff will be hosting guided gin tastings through out the day. They will guide you through a tasting flight (4 different gins), sharing stories behind each gin’s creation and imparting their expert knowledge. (Please purchase an add on ticket for a guided tasting)
Local Vendors and Artisans
Discover the creativity and passion of local businesses as they showcase their hot cross bun-inspired offerings.
Picnic Set-Up
They will provide some picnic rugs and tables, but feel free to take along your own for a cozy setup.
