Twist & Top – Frozen Yoghurt & Açai | Adelaide | Review

If you’re looking for a fun and family-friendly treat spot in the city, the newly opened Twist & Top Frozen Yoghurt & Açaí on Rundle Street is worth a visit.

Kids (and adults) will love choosing from the wide range of toppings – from fresh fruit to loads of sweet treats. There’s a big selection (as you can see from our pics below). They can be piled on top of frozen yoghurt or acai. This is a self serve shop just like other similar frozen yoghurt places, where you fill a cup with your chosen flavour/s of frozen yoghurt or acai as a base, then add your toppings. You pay by weight at the counter.

What sets Twist & Top apart, though, are their interactive digital tables. At first glance they look like the old retro Pac-Man tables, but these modern versions come with a clever twist – each corner has a wireless phone charging dock. You can simply pop your phone down to recharge while you play.  Families and friends can play a game together right at the table. We went old-school and played card game Solitaire, and a digital pinball game, but there are plenty of other fun options. Just a heads-up – the games appear to be sponsored by Temu, so you’ll notice some ads.

The cafe has a spacious, modern vibe with seating options of the digital tables and chairs, to higher benches as well. It’s a relaxed spot to cool down, recharge (literally!), and enjoy a tasty treat in the city if you love frozen yoghurt.
