Young Carers Week | 6-12 Oct 2025

Young Carers Recognised with Weeklong Celebration

Fun, food, friends, face painting, footy and more – Young Carers SA is celebrating this year’s Young Carers Week with a jam-packed calendar of FREE activities.

Young Carers Week was created to raise awareness and support for South Australia’s young carers and is proudly delivered by Young Carers SA – the state’s only organisation dedicated solely to supporting young carers.

While National Carers Week falls one week later, Young Carers SA recognised the incredible responsibility and contribution of young carers and introduced a celebratory week specifically for South Australia’s 30,000 young carers.
