Pik A Pie Bakery | Meadows | Review
This country bakery is incredibly popular with locals and a must visit stop if travelling through Meadows with children. Not only does it hold its own with quality baked goods, it has an indoor kids corner and an outdoor play space too.

There is a lot to love about Pik A Pie at Meadows and pulling into a packed bakery on a random Wednesday morning, it seems the locals think so too. You might think a small bakery wouldn’t be such a drawcard in a country town but this place was so busy, it was hard to get a seat.

Once we eventually found our spot, conveniently located next to the indoor kids corner, it was time to make some tough decisions on what to order and join the long line of hungry diners. After settling on a vegetarian pasty and a strawberry jam donut, we didn’t have to wait long before devouring our food. The service was efficient, warm and welcoming. The menu is extensive including baked goods, sweet treats and a selection of sandwiches. The food was high quality, enjoyed by all and actually very well priced too.

Not only was our indoor dining experience faultless, when we moved outside we discovered more undercover seating and a small kid’s play space. The outdoor play space is very much geared towards small children and includes a hopscotch area, noughts and crosses, a play kitchen, chalk board and a water play contraption. It’s also quite spacious in the undercover area so children and multiple families have room to hang out without feeling like they are on top of each other.

Overall, this was our first time visiting Pik A Pie at Meadows but I absolutely know it wont be our last. Not only did we love the food, service and facilities, it is located right next to Battunga park playground which is perfect for burning off the sugar and unwinding in a lovely nature space.

What we liked about it:
- Everything! Great food, warm service, nice country town location and great kids facilities.
Things to consider:
- High chairs are available on site.
- There are accessible toilets and a baby change table available too.
- This place get very busy so try to come early to avoid disappointment.
- They also do giant donuts which could easily feed a small family.
Location:
34 Mawson Rd, Meadows
