The Muslim community of South Australia have joined together to present to you the first ever Al Salam Festival or the Festival of Peace.
The festival will tie in with the Adelaide festival season and encourage people from all walks of life to come together, have fun and learn. It is a day for people to enjoy various entertainment, rides, cuisine, informative discussions as well as the opportunity to experience the Muslim way of life and learn about Islam.
The Al Salam festival hopes to give the general public insight into Islamic traditions to hopefully build and create relationships with the Muslim Community. One of the very central aspects of Islam is the Holy Quran. Come to the festival to listen to beautiful Quranic recitations, under the nature and interpretation of the scripture and learn about its miracles.
