Every year families everywhere face the difficult task of deciding what to get their ‘old man’ for Father’s Day and Dads are left with a flood of socks and jocks, barbecue aprons and chocolate coated cashews!
To make up for this, the National Motor Museum is inviting all dads to celebrate their day enjoying a trip to see the Museum’s great collection. Every father accompanied by a paying visitor will be admitted to the Museum free of charge. Mum and the kids will love the day out too!
A visit this Sunday is also a perfect opportunity to check out the newest changing display – Pole Position – which currently features three Indian motorcycles. Built for cruising in comfort on highways in the USA since 1922, the Indian Chief’s timeless styling makes it one of the most iconic motorcycles in history. A 1924, 1946 and 2013 Chief are on display, spanning almost the entire history of the resurgent Indian brand.
Don’t worry about buying Dad a present there’s plenty to choose from in the souvenir shop. They’ve got everything from blokes’ soap to books and beer stubbies to Harley tees and DVDs. There’s literally something for everyone’s Dad.
The National Motor Museum houses over 400 vehicles in its collection and an infinite number of stories to accompany them. Help Dad relive his memories of his first car, family vacations and more.
