GIANT CHRISTMAS TREE – VICTORIA SQUARE
Lighting up on Saturday 16 November, head into the city via the tram, train or park in the Adelaide Central Market carpark and watch a 15 minute light display on the Giant Christmas Tree in Victoria Square. The tree will light up every night at 8.00pm until 5 January 2020. Kids will also love running through the water fountain on warm evenings, so pack a spare change of clothes!
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, FESTIVE NIGHTS – ADELAIDE
Enjoy 10 magical evenings of activities and entertainment at Christmas Lights, Festive Nights in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga. With so much on offer, the City of Adelaide have curated a different program for every night. The highlight is the life-size Santa sleigh and Rudolph the reindeer display made of LEGO® bricks. Friday 13 – Sunday 22 December 2019.
CHRISTMAS WINDOWS, RUNDLE MALL
From treasuring the memories created when friends and family gather, to the beauty of handmade gifts for the children and the intricacies of miniature worlds, the Christmas Windows in Rundle Mall bring to life the magic of Christmas. November & December 2019.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AROUND ADELAIDE

WEST END BREWERY CHRISTMAS RIVERBANK DISPLAY – THEBARTON
It’s a family tradition for thousands each year to view the West End Brewery Christmas Riverbank Display along the River Torrens. An annual display of lights and activity scenes set up along the lawns of the South Australian Brewing Company in Thebarton, just opposite the Entertainment Centre. 25 November – 31 December 2019.
The iconic Lobethal Lights involve the whole town, in the largest Community Christmas Light Display in the Southern Hemisphere. Grab a map, visit the night market, see the living nativity show, eat some food on offer, visit Father Christmas and walk or drive around the town admiring the local lights. 8-29 December 2019.
WESTMINSTER SCHOOL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS – MARION
Westminster School Christmas Lights – one of Adelaide’s most celebrated seasonal events – where visitors can also join in the festivities during the popular nightly Christmas carols and sing-a-long. Enjoy thousands of sparkling fairy lights, Santa’s Magic Christmas Kingdom and nightly music. 13 to 20 December 2019.
SANTA’S WONDERLAND – ADELAIDE SHOWGROUND
Watch their eyes light up as they enter this magical wonderland filled with music, beautiful Christmas displays, activities, rides, ice skating, tobogganing, live performances, and Santa. Santa’s Wonderland is on from 6-24 December 2019.
THE MAGIC CAVE – DAVID JONES, RUNDLE MALL
On the 2nd floor of David Jones in Rundle Mall you’ll find the Magic Cave with an array of entertainment including Christmas displays, funny mirrors and a free carousel ride.
MYER SANTALAND – RUNDLE MALL
Visit the magical winter wonderland on level two of the Adelaide Myer Centre. There are secret workshops, fun activities and the Santaland Express – a life size train offering a virtual experience to transport passengers on a journey to visit Santa.
