To show appreciation for the wonderful Holden community, Holden are hosting the Holden Dream Cruise on Sunday 15th October 2017.
For seven decades, Holden manufacturing has been an iconic part of Australian life. They are proud of their heritage and excited for the future.
Starting in Elizabeth City Centre, a giant street parade of Australian-made Holden cars – led by the first and last cars built in Australia by Holden, a 1948 48/215 and a 2017 VF Commodore – will kick off the Holden Dream Cruise. The parade will be followed by a free family fun day filled with spectacular car displays, entertainment, food, and a Show ‘n’ Shine competition at the My Money House Oval (home of the Central District Football Club).
If you own a vehicle made or assembled by Holden manufacturing in Australia, they would love for you to drive in the Holden Dream Cruise! Registration for the cruise is open to all cars, vans, trucks and commercial vehicles built or assembled by Holden or General Motors in Australia.
This event will bring together customers, enthusiasts, employees and locals to celebrate Holden manufacturing’s achievements, its important place in Australian society, and their exceptional Australian-made products.
