New Family Friendly Caroma Concept Store in Adelaide | Review

A new family friendly Caroma Concept Store has just opened on The Parade in Norwood

Renowned for its sleek modern designs and unique water-saving features, Caroma is embarking on a new, exciting venture by opening its first flagship store back in the city where it all started in 1941 by Charles Rothauser.

The new Caroma Concept Store in Norwood has just opened its doors and it is the perfect place to start when designing your brand new bathroom build or renovation.  To help make your project as seamless and stress-free as possible, the new showroom has experts on hand to guide you every step of the way, helping you to make the best selection for your home.

A fabulous Design Hub has been created near the entrance as a starting point when you first step through the doors.  There are cards explaining the different products in detail, and on the floor you can play with ‘blocks’ to scale, giving you a real life perspective of a possible floor plan that could work within your dimensions.  Up on the bench there are also 3D printed models to move around on graph paper, again to scale so that you can see the room take place.

For families visiting the store there is a fabulous play room for children, cleverly designed to entertain the little ones while their parents concentrate on their design project.  The glass walls allow parents to see in and the children to see out, so you can still keep an eye on them at all times. There are good quality toys including a little kitchen; a teepee; table and stools, books and a TV which will be able to play Netflix children movies.

The Caroma Concept Store features six life-sized capsules curated by top Australian designers and renovators, each one showcasing the best of Caroma’s extensive range of baths, basins, toilet suites, tapware, showers and accessories.  A bathroom capsule by Mark Tuckey is a design highlight.

There are working showers and taps on display so you can test the products in store and get a feel for how they operate.

There is a range of full size baths to try out and display walls of tapware, toilet suites and basins.  There is also a wide variety of accessories such as towel rails, shelving, mirrors and more.

Proudly born right here in South Australia, for 75 years iconic Australian brand Caroma has been a leader in bathroom and kitchenware both here and internationally. Did you know they made the first water-saving dual-flush toilet in the world? At this new concept store, Caroma can provide professional advice, ideas and the latest in the product style trends and innovation from Australia’s most trusted brands, including Caroma, Dorf, Clark, Cristina, Stylus and Fowler.
