Would your child like to be on Play School? ABC Kids ‘Through The Windows’ Callout is now open!
ABC’s Play School is looking for video submissions featuring children from every state in Australia to appear in their “Through The Windows” segment as part of the upcoming Play School series themed “Things To Do”.
The series showcases the wonderful everyday things children do in their lives. From daily routines and mealtimes to helping out, getting out and about, and playing outdoors, they’d love to see how these moments look in your world.
The ABC is asking parents and guardians to help kids aged between 4 and 12 to film a 60 second video.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO FILM?
The series features a range of different everyday topics in each episode, capturing the simple, special moments in children’s lives.
You only need to select one episode and film at least one of the following episode topics.
- Episode 1: Morning routine | Brushing teeth and washing face | Arts and crafts | Playing with toys or games | Bedtime routine
- Episode 2: Daily mealtime | Making food | Setting the table | Eating using hands or utensils | Sharing a meal with others
- Episode 3: Putting toys away | Caring for a pet | Helping in the garden | Helping a parent or sibling | Using please and thank you
- Episode 4: Going out and returning home | Travelling on transport | Walking to a destination | Activity like sport, dance or tutoring | Visiting a shop
- Episode 5: Putting on hat and sunscreen | Playing on outdoor equipment | Backyard games | Imaginative play | Exploring nature
HOW TO SUBMIT A VIDEO:
Once the video has been filmed and the release form(s) are signed, a parent or guardian will need to submit the video and form(s) via the link on ABC’s website.
Video to be received no later than 11:59pm AEST Monday 20 July 2026.
