ACPA January 2026 School Holiday Workshops.
During the January school holidays, ACPA is hosting an exciting lineup of workshops packed with creativity, learning and nonstop good vibes – Fairytale Fantasy Workshop (ages 3-6), Pirate Adventure Workshop (ages 3 – 6) and Lights, Camera, Lip Sync Workshop (ages 6 – 10).
Fairytale Fantasy Workshop | Ages 3 – 6 years
Step into an enchanted kingdom for the Fairytale Fantasy Workshop. Young dancers and dreamers will create their very own wand, enjoy magical face art, and take part in themed games and activities. The workshop also includes a one-hour dance class inspired by fairytale music and stories, along with snacks and drinks to keep everyone energised as they explore, imagine and play.
Saturday 10 January 2026 | 9:30am – 11:00am | Thebarton Studio
Pirate Adventure Workshop | Ages 3 – 6 years
Set sail on a Pirate Adventure designed especially for little ones. Young pirates will join the crew to learn a fun pirate dance, take on “deck drills” and enjoy pirate-themed games and activities – including a special Pass the Parcel, pirate style. Along the way, participants will enjoy snacks and drinks, hunt for a hidden treasure chest, and finish with a short celebration performance to show parents what they’ve been working on.
Saturday 17 January 2026 | 9:30am – 11:00am | Henley Beach Studio
Lights, Camera, Lip Sync Workshop | Ages 6 – 10 years
Step onto the “set” for Lights, Camera, Lip Sync – a reality TV–style workshop for the January school holidays. Throughout the afternoon, dancers will work in groups, be given themes and songs, and create their own lip-sync performances complete with costumes, an MC, and full TV-show vibes. The session includes games and activities, “interview couch” moments, and a final live performance for parents at the end of the workshop. Dinner, drinks and all materials are included.
