What are you most passionate about? What do you want to share with the world? This is your chance to communicate what matters most to you – in cartoon form!
Kids aged between 11 and 14 years are invited to attend free cartooning workshops on Wednesdays in January at the Centre of Democracy. In these workshops, they will develop their illustration skills while having a say about issues that matter to them. Participants will explore the Centre of Democracy and the temporary exhibition Behind the Lines 2016: The Year’s Best Political Cartoons.
Running the workshops is local cartoonist, Georgina Chadderton aka George Rex Comics. At the Centre of Democracy, Georgina will work with the kids to create simple storyboards inspired by social change, activism and democracy.
