GooseChase: The chase is back for the Adelaide Fringe in 2018
What is GooseChase? Adelaide is your playground as this scavenger hunt challenges you with hundreds of unique missions, puzzles and tasks to earn points and take the lead in the game. Missions range from completing physical activities to answering questions or puzzles found in Fringe venues and iconic South Australian landmarks.
GooseChase: The Mall Mini-Hunt
In 2018 the Adelaide Fringe is introducing GooseChase: The Mall Mini-Hunt. For the young and young at heart, grandparents, parents, carers, children and anyone up for some fun can get a taste of the GooseChase scavenger hunt before the major game begins at this special school holiday event in Rundle Mall.
Prizes, including tickets to some of the hottest Fringe shows, will be up for grabs so meet under the Gawler Place canopy to get involved.
- When: Friday 12 January 2018 | 10am – 2.30pm (winners announced at 3.00pm)

GooseChase
The ‘Adelaide Fringe 2018’ game officially opens at 9am Friday 2 February 2018 and the game ends with the ending of the 2018 Adelaide Fringe on 18 March 2018 at 11:59pm. To participate players need to download the free GooseChase app from the Google Play or iTunes store, create an account using an email address or Facebook login then search and join the game ‘Adelaide Fringe 2018’. Anyone can play, but due to the nature of the game and missions including interaction with strangers any players under the age of 18 should be GooseChasing with a parent or guardian. Only players aged 18 or over are eligible to win prizes.
Missions range from completing (or at least attempting, yes there are points for trying!) physical activities like handstands or interpretive dance to answering a question or solving a puzzle and all missions need to be completed at the location outlined in the brief. Be creative and you may be rewarded with bonus points, be lazy and you may lose points!
