Adelaide Fringe 2024 Poster Competition

The Poster Competition for the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival is now open for all visual creators to have the chance for their design represent the Fringe next year. 

Australia’s biggest arts festival, Adelaide Fringe is on a global hunt to find the artwork that will become the face of the 2024 festival, with submissions to the Adelaide Fringe Poster Competition officially open. This year is the  50th anniversary of the Adelaide Fringe Poster Competition, which has catapulted the careers of dozens of creators, artists and designers into the spotlight.

Adelaide Fringe encourages professionals, beginners and hobbyists to enter the poster competition and throw their hat in the ring to be the creator of the branding that represents Australia’s biggest arts festival for an entire season, as well as being cemented in the history books as one of the great posters of Adelaide Fringe.

Past designs have ranged from painted canvas artworks to vector designs and digital collages, which have been used across outdoor signage, public transport, merchandise, shopping bags and a vast array of other collateral.

Theme:

Entrants are invited to create a poster that captures the spirit of Fringe and expresses what the Adelaide Fringe means to them with the 2024 poster theme ‘Arts Unlimited’ as inspiration which champions the notion that the arts is for everyone.

Prize:

The artist with the winning design for 2024 will receive $6,000 in prize money, free registration for an exhibition at Adelaide Fringe and have their work thrust into the media spotlight

Entries close Sunday 13 August 2023 at 11:59pm (ACST).
