The Adelaide Showground Farmers Market is holding their Family Day on Sunday 1 February 2015.
Special kids’ activities will run from 10am until 12 noon and will include a jumping castle, mini golf, face painting, giant games and much more!
The market is open as usual from 9am to 1pm so you’ll have lots of time to shop for fresh produce, enjoy some fun with the kids and grab a bite to eat!
The produce available at the Market changes every week depending on what’s in season. You will find fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, bakery goods and lots of sweet treats. Kids can sample different flavours with taste testing offered at many of the stalls. There are tables and chairs under cover to sit down and enjoy a cooked breakfast or a delicious treat with a tea or coffee.
The Kids’ Club at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market has fun things to cook, grow and learn each week. Kids’ Club is held each week inside the Market Pavilion for children aged between five and twelve years old. Sessions start at 10am and you can register on the day from 9am at the Market Kitchen. Children of Market Members participate for free. There is a $2 per child charge for the children of non-members which helps to offset ingredient costs. Click here to learn more.
The Market is located in the Beef Cattle Pavilion at the Leader St entrance to the Showgrounds.
