Baby’s Day Out aims to support, inspire and instil confidence in mums to breastfeed their babies anytime, anywhere
This year, the Australian Breastfeeding Association are encouraging women to ‘bond for breastfeeding’ – bond with their babies, bond with other mums and even bond with nature by getting out & about in the lovely spring air. Mothers are protected by law and have the right to breastfeed whenever and wherever they choose.
Baby’s Day Out aims to support, inspire and instil confidence in mums to breastfeed their babies anytime, anywhere – at the shops, at a cafe, at the beach, at the park, even on a plane! When a baby’s needs call, it is her mother’s natural instinct to feed.
Socialising with others is a fantastic way to share experiences and extend support to mums who may not feel as comfortable feeding in public. Baby’s Day Out gives mothers the perfect opportunity to engage with fellow mums and their peers, advocate for a breastfeeding inclusive society and celebrate their ability to nurture their babies anywhere they choose. In doing so, we are contributing to the world’s Sustainable Development Goals and celebrating breastfeeding as a normal, natural way of life.
