Bank Street Burger | Review
If you’re looking for a quality burger and fries in the heart of Adelaide, head straight to Bank Street Burger. Situated on the corner of Hindley and Bank Street, it’s the perfect place to grab a quick burger on the go before you head off to the footy or after events in the city.
This hole-in-the-wall venue is hard to miss – a burgundy fit out and bold theatre mirror lights provide a sense of drama. You won’t find drama here though, just quality burgers and fries and prompt service! A handful of chairs provide a spot to devour your delicious burger and fries or you can grab your food to go, the choice is yours.
The pared-back menu is designed with a philosphy in mind – “do one thing and do it well”. All the elements have been tested to ensure maximum flavour and quaity. We can vouch for the juicy meat patties and fresh ingredients. The fries are also full of flavour, with a great crunch and perfectly cooked.
The menu consists of only three burger options:
- Classic – a double patty stacked with American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and signature sauce.
- The Original swaps the salad for house pickles and rich, sherry-glazed onions.
- Cheeseburger – a classic American-style burger with a single patty, American cheese, fresh onion, ketchup and mustard.
Why do we love this – it’s quick food, done really well! It’s perfect if you’re in a bit of a rush as the service is prompt and friendly. Kids who love fries and a burger, teens and families will enjoy this spot!
Open hours: Wednesday to Saturday, with late-night hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Make sure you double check their open hours on their Instagram or Facebook page.
