Woodhouse Adventure Park’s School Holidays UNPLUGGED kids only ‘drop & go’ day camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep primary school kids aged 5 to 12 screen-free, active and entertained for the whole day… just 10 minutes up the South Eastern freeway on a magnificent 54-hectare nature wonderland at Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills.
As always, this season of UNPLUGGED (running weekdays 8-19 July) features creative themes and loads of fun outdoor adventures. The kids will be enjoying outdoor laser skirmish and ice-blocking (think sleds made from ice!). They’ll journey through time and go on a medieval quest at Knights of the Round Table. There will be plenty of friendly competition at It’s a Knockout, while backyard science will have the kids excited at Get a Reaction. There will be marshmallows around the campfire for the quintessential Woodhouse winter experience, and all the thrills of a traditional fun fair at Classic Carnival. Plus so much more!
There really is something for every kind of kid … from nature lovers and arty types through to sports fans and adrenaline seekers! Plus every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
JUST $75 PER DAY (Scout Members save 20%) covers programmed activities and full facilitation (1:9 staff to child ratio) from 9am to 5pm.
School Holidays UNPLUGGED Themes:
Every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course (with different sections and twists each day) and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
- Monday 8 July – Adrenaline Rush – Do you have a need for speed, a call for adventure, and energy to burn? This is the day for you! Includes outdoor laser skirmish and ice-blocking (ice sledding).
- Tuesday 9 July – Get a Reaction! – Have a blast with hands-on backyard science including bottle rockets and erupting volcanoes!
- Wednesday 10 July – It’s a Knockout! – Tackle obstacles, challenges and relays… with super-sized games including giant jenga and kerplunk!
- Thursday 11 July – Superhero Academy – Discover your superpowers at Woodhouse during an action-packed day of superhero crafts, games and challenges!
- Friday 12 July – Marshmallow Madness – Marshmallow games and challenges, with s’mores and fun around the campfire… classic winter Woodhouse!
- Monday 15 July – Build to Survive – Use resourcefulness, problem-solving and teamwork for shelter building and mini construction challenges!
- Tuesday 16 July – Woodhouse Carnival – Roll up, roll up! All the thrills of the funfair, with traditional sideshows, carnival craft & the Woodhouse popcorn machine!
- Wednesday 17 July – Ready, Aim, Fire! – Hit the bullseye with target games and challenges… topped off with fun and s’mores around the campfire!
- Thursday 18 July – Knights of the Round Table – Legendary medieval adventure, with a daring quest, exciting challenges… and a touch of magic!
- Friday 19 July – Ultimate Woodhouse – From outdoor laser skirmish and bouldering, to creek crossings and The Labyrinth giant maze… take their iconic adventures to the next level!
