Family Friendly Winter Village and Ice Skating – Illuminate Adelaide’s 2022 Base Camp
Nestled at Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, Base Camp is your Illuminate Adelaide winter village with a twist – purpose-built to gather your crew, raise a winter toast, and boldly go forth on your next adventure. Perfect for the whole family, this winter playground is open day and night in July 2022.
Co-presented by the team that brings you Gluttony and Lucky Dumpling Market year-on-year, Base Camp entry is free, they have great food and drink, and you can get your skates on and enjoy Base Camp’s exclusive ice skating rink.
Whether you’re starting your night, exploring its spread of free and ticketed installations, or just looking for a place to chill at the end of your evening, Base Camp has you covered for all your winter needs.
ICE SKATING SESSIONS:
Sessions are available every 60 minutes during Base Camp opening hours. Duration – 45 minutes
Tickets:
Ticket prices (includes skate hire):
- Adult (18+ years) – $35 peak, $28 off-peak
- Concession (Pensioners, Healthcare card holders, Seniors, Full-time students, Children aged 5 – 17 years) – $25 peak, $20 off-peak
- Family of 4 ticket (max 2 adults) – $100 peak, $80 off-peak
- Kanga Hire – $5
A merchant service fee of 2% applies.
Things to note:
No children under the age of 5 are permitted on the ice under any circumstances.
Children aged 5-7 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the ice.
All patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult at all times.
