Bastille Festival is returning to Adelaide in May, transforming Festival Plaza into a vibrant celebration of French food, wine and culture.
After a standout debut, the festival is expanding to four days and nights, offering even more to explore, taste and experience. Step into France, right in the heart of Adelaide for a free festival for everyone to enjoy, discover and taste. From morning coffee and croissants to late-night wine and music, the festival evolves throughout the day just like in France.
Highlights include:
- French wine, champagne, mulled wine & more
- Raclette, crêpes, pastries and classic French dishes
- Explore different French regions each with its own atmosphere, décor and flavours
- 40+ free performances, live music & roaming artists
- Free Friday night cabaret
- Artisan markets, French-inspired products & local creators
At its core, Bastille Festival is about “la joie de vivre” the simple pleasure of sharing food, wine and good moments together

- Friday 29 May 2026 | 12pm – 11pm
- Saturday 30 May 2026 | 10am – 11pm
- Sunday 31 May 2026 | 10am – 9pm
Ticketed Experiences:
There will also be a variety of ticketed experiences, including food and wine tastings and an open air cinema. These can be booked online via their website here.
