Beach access matting has been installed adjacent Muwerang/Kent Reserve in Victor Harbor.
The matting is placed on top of soft sand to provide a stable and slip-resistant path for users of wheelchairs, other mobility aids and prams. It can be used by anyone who has difficulty walking to the water’s edge.
Due to increased storm action during some months of the year, the matting can only be installed over summer, and may need to be removed if wave surges occur.
