Take the family for a ride on the NOVA Ferris Wheel in Glenelg.
The Nova Ferris Wheel – a treat from Balfours, is open daily from October to May providing spectacular views over the SA coastline, down Jetty Road and across to the Adelaide Hills.
Located on the Glenelg foreshore, NOVA, Balfours and Skyline Attractions have brought back the giant Ferris Wheel to South Australia for the ninth year in a row. Standing 35 metres high, this Observation Wheel is the tallest portable wheel of its kind in Australia, with 24 gondolas each seating up to six people. It is also fully wheelchair accessible.
SkyLine’s gondolas offer the best views in the world, through modern clear perspex glass. Embarking and disembarking is made simple with dual inward only folding doors, enabling a safe, efficient entry and exit from each gondola.
Located on the foreshore at the end of Moseley Square, the NOVA Ferris Wheel operates from 10am until 9.30pm, 7 days a week (subject to weather conditions). The views during the day are incredible, however sunset is a magical time to ride the wheel and once the sun sets the twinkling lights below can be seen for miles.

While in Glenelg, the kids will love splashing about in Moseley Square’s bubbling water feature on a warm summer day or night, as well as play at the nearby Foreshore playground.
