Beowulf: The Blockbuster is a one-man show performed and written by Bryan Burroughs.

A dying man uses the poem Beowulf to explain to his son that all heroes can’t survive all battles. The message of Beowulf is translated through films such as Star Wars and other Hollywood blockbusters so the young son can understand.

The story is told through traditional Irish story telling using humour, sorrow, wit and warmth.

Beowulf: The Blockbuster is a part of The Irish Showcase being held at The German Club in Flinders Street (Rated-PG mild coarse language):
