Bohème on The Beach

Set on iconic Glenelg beach, this is an evening you will never forget. State Opera presents Puccini’s epic love story on stage under the stars with a cast of Australia’s best voices and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

It’s Paris, 1930s – the city of love. Young dreamers Mimi and Rudolfo meet – their chemistry is electric. They fall head-over-heels for each other. This is love, this could last forever. Meanwhile, his best mates are doing it tough to follow their dreams.  They are all in this together, but what about when a woman gets in the way?

Their highs, lows, loves and losses become the setting for one of opera’s most lush, romantic scores. You’ll fall in love with a vie bohème.
